Agenda Item: October 28 Tent Video

Discussion: The four-minute video that will be used in the DAFVM tent prior to the October 28 MSU-Kentucky football game was viewed. The group was pleased with the video and only minor suggestions were made that Dr. Melissa Mixon will share with Julia Heard. A general discussion of the entire tent set-up followed. It was agreed that materials would not be distributed at the tent. The overall layout of the tent will be attractive and the displays/banners will be informative of DAFVM activities. All division employees are urged to stop by the tent prior to the game and share this experience.

Action: Any additional thoughts or comments about this activity should be shared with Drs. Mixon or Reinschmiedt no later than Monday, October 16.

• Preparation: D- [MS is in the lower 10%]
• Participation: D
• Affordability: F [42 other states also rank F]
• Completion: B [MS in near the middle]
• Benefits: C [MS is in the lower 25%]

The only area in which Mississippi improved from 2 years ago was in the completion category.
