How To Bring An Issue Before The Senate

Any member of the faculty or administration may bring an issue to the senate for consideration. All you need to do is send an email message to the Senate Chair indicating your request or concern.

For your information, the next step is for the request to be placed on the agenda of the next regularly scheduled meeting at which time the Senate will decide whether to consider the request. If yes, the request is referred to the appropriate Standing Committee for study.

After study, the committee reports their findings and recommendation(s) to the Senate at a future meeting at which time the Senate considers the committee report and recommendation(s).

After action by the Senate, the Chair sends the recommendation(s) to the appropriate DAFVM administrator for consideration.
