Suggested Committee Report Format
The following general format is suggested for Standing
and Special Committee Reports submitted to DAFVM Faculty
Senate for consideration. Remember that the basic contents
(excluding attachments) will be placed on the DAFVM Faculty
Senate Web site. Consequently, certain things are not best
suited for the "html" format.
Underlining generally should not be used, links are underlined.
Thus, underlined text could easily be considered to be
a "link." Bold or italic text is a suitable alternative.
Instead of writing changes in the wording that is denoted
by underlined text, a better option would to write changes
in the wording that is denoted by bold (or italic)
text.

BACKGROUND: On date, person wrote requesting
that the DAFVM Faculty Senate study, determine, make
recommendation, etc. This issue was forwarded to the Name Committee
at the date meeting of the Senate.
DISCUSSION: Background, findings, etc.
RECOMMENDATION: Detail recommendations with appropriate
explanation.
