An act to direct the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning to establish a College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University; and for related purposes.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi:
The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning is hereby authorized and directed to establish a College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University at Starkville, Mississippi.
The board is directed to take any and all necessary and proper action for the implementation of this act, including but not limited to the appointment of a dean who will study and recommend to the board an adequate staff and whose responsibility will be to work with the State Building Commission in planning the construction and equipping of said college.
This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
